11 Months Old

Emma is 11 months old today! I can't believe it. This time last year I was getting anxious and excited about her arrival.
She is trying to start walking. She has taken several steps on her own, but isn't quite ready to stop crawling. We had to lower her crib to it's bottom height yesterday because she thought it would be fun to lean over the edge and fall out! Don't worry, she is perfectly fine. Not a scratch on her.
We are still trying to figure out plans for her 1st Birthday party...I am not a good party planner! We'll be sending out invitations soon and hope to see everyone there.
I have some more pictures to post and hope to get to them tonight, if not, I will do them tomorrow.

Gloria's 50th Birthday Party

Saturday night we went to Lake Mary for my Aunt Gloria's 50th Surprise Birthday Party! It was at her sister-in-law and brother-in-law's house. The houses in this neighborhood were only houses I could ever dream of living in!! Katrina and Emma

My grandma likes to do interesting things with money at Christmas and birthdays. She had 50 balloons blown up with a $1 bill in each of them...so, in order for Gloria to get her money, she had to pop each balloon!
She didn't do all of them while we were there. That would have taken a while!

Gloria's birthday isn't actually until the 28th, but Happy Birthday Gloria!!

Universal

We went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure a couple weekends ago. Here are a few pictures from our day there (gotta love free tickets)!! Emma went into the Shrek show and it didn't even phase her. It was 3-D so things were jumping out of the screen but she just sat right in my lap and drank her bottle. The only sad part of the day was when Emma lost her Cabbage Patch baby. It was a baby I got from the Cabbage Patch Hospital and kept in my hope chest. I gave it to Emma a month or so ago, but she must have thrown it out of the stroller and we weren't able to find it:(

I'm sorry...I know I haven't posted in forever, but I never promised I would be good at this. Here are some random pictures over the last month. Emma is getting bigger and bigger. She was 10 months on August 3. She'll be a year before I know it. I guess I have to start planning that big first birthday party soon.
