Christmas in Illinois

We went to IL this year for Christmas. When we arrived on Saturday, 12/19, there was snow on the ground...by Friday it all melted. The temperature got down to 1 degree one day and that was way too cold me me.

We took the kids to see Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Janie bought Karli and Emma matching outfits.

We opened stockings on Christmas Eve. Here is a picture of Emma's. Katelyn and Brianna decorated everyone's stockings.

Christmas #3

We had Christmas with Mom and Bob, Brad and Amanda, and Toni tonight since we are leaving in the morning for IL. We got a lot of really nice things.

Christmas #2

Mom and Bob had a party at their house last night since we are leaving for IL this weekend. Emma got to open presents (well, I opened them) and we got to visit with family before we headed out.

We had Christmas with my Dad and his family a little early this year since we were heading out to IL. We had a nice dinner and then opened gifts. Here is a picture of some of the stuff we got.

Happy Halloween

For my very first Halloween, my Aunt Gail let me wear a dress off a doll of hers called Holly Hobbie. Well, we thought it would be cute if Emma wore the same thing on her first Halloween. I know it wasn't her very first, but she was too "new" last year to participate in the festivities. I do have pictures of me in the same outfit, I just haven't scanned them yet. I will post them soon.

Family Reunion North Carolina 2008

We went to North Carolina October 23-26, 2008 for the Corbett Family Reunion. We had a really good time seeing family and eating lots of BBQ!!
