I read a blog today that brought tears to my eyes. An old roommate of mine from CCC has a blog and it wasn't until today that I found it. I had known for a few months that she was expecting and hadn't seen anything recently regarding it. I went onto her blog and found out why. She gave birth to her baby boy about two months ago (he was due yesterday). He was stillborn and is now with Jesus. I read through her blog about the struggles that she is facing and it broke my heart for her. I am so blessed to have a healthy, happy baby girl that is about to turn 1 year old on Friday. I know God has a plan for everything that happens in our lives...it is just hard to see that plan sometimes. About a month ago Doug accepted a job offer at his current job for our family to move to Dallas. We felt like God was leading us in that direction but we know it is going to be super hard to leave all of my family behind. Well, last week I lost my job and Texas became an even bigger blessing for us. God knew that in the long run we really need this move to TX.
Well, I wrote all this basically just to say how thankful I am for my baby and my husband and my family. God has blessed me with an incredible life and even though I fail to thank Him for it as often as I should He still blesses me everyday.

Our Trip to Texas
We left at 7:30am on Friday morning, September 19th. We started our day with a healthy breakfast from the Burger King in the airport!!
I was rushing Doug in the drive-thru of Taco Bueno. He didn't like that.
This is the sign for Taco Bueno. It was pretty good. They still have Taco Bell's, but I thought this was a little better.
Here is the sign for Butler and Hosch. It is on the 3rd floor of the glass building behind it.
We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Dallas. Not a very good picture of the sign, but oh well.
This is our room.
We started the day out right on Saturday with a healthy breakfast from Chick-fil-A. After this we started looking at apartments.
This is one of the major grocery store chains in Dallas.
Here is the 1st house we are going to buy!!
And this will be our 2nd home!!!
Any of you Dallas fans out there (the TV show that is), here are the two golden buildings that are in the opening credits.

We went and saw Righteous Kill on Saturday night at the North Park Mall.
We drove to Frisco, TX on Sunday before I had to leave and this is the Mexican restaurant we ate at. It was very good

Doug and Brad's PJ's
I really can't explain this picture. Brad and Doug are two very special individuals. They found these footy pajamas at Target and thought they would be a great joke, so they bought them. Brad's dinosaurs glowed in the dark!

Tabitha's Shower
We went to Tabitha's bridal shower a few weekends ago. I didn't take Emma because I didn't think there would be any kids there. Well, there was and I got scolded for not bringing Emma. So, I called Doug and he brought her up there.

11 Months Old
Emma is 11 months old today! I can't believe it. This time last year I was getting anxious and excited about her arrival.
She is trying to start walking. She has taken several steps on her own, but isn't quite ready to stop crawling. We had to lower her crib to it's bottom height yesterday because she thought it would be fun to lean over the edge and fall out! Don't worry, she is perfectly fine. Not a scratch on her.
We are still trying to figure out plans for her 1st Birthday party...I am not a good party planner! We'll be sending out invitations soon and hope to see everyone there.
I have some more pictures to post and hope to get to them tonight, if not, I will do them tomorrow.
