Bad Habits

We went to Chili's this past Saturday for lunch and Doug was teaching Emma some bad habits. She was sticking the straw in the cup (with sticky strawberry lemonade in it) and then pulling it out and flinging the drink everywhere. They were having a good old time spraying Grandma with drink. Oh yeah...Daddy did her hair...it's big!

What is that???

Doug thought since Emma was playing with the little post-it notes that he would stick them all over her face. She loved every minute of it! I didn't once all the little pieces of paper were all over my couch.

Silly Girl

Emma apparently thinks she is a baby doll because she hopped into the baby doll stroller. She was at my mom's house and was playing in the family room. My mom came out of the office and there Emma was just sitting in the stroller waiting for someone to push her!! She even had her legs through the holes!!

Our Trip to Tampa

Doug's company has a convention in Tampa this week so Emma and I are coming along for the trip. We get to stay at the Marriott in downtown Tampa and my mom is going to come for a few days to keep us company while Doug is working. We decided to head to the Lowry Park Zoo on Sunday since we couldn't check into the hotel until late in the afternoon. This is the second time Emma has been to the zoo but she was a little too young the first time we went. I think she had a better time this go round. Here are just some of the pictures from our day.

Saturday Morning Outing

This morning we got up and decided to go to the Townhouse for breakfast. After breakfast we thought it would be fun to go and feed some ducks that live nearby. We stopped at Publix and bought a loaf of bread and headed to the park. The ducks didn't really want anything to do with us. There was one that came up and ate a few pieces and then swam away.

Emma wouldn't throw her bread...she held on to it for dear life!

There was a playground by the pond so we decided to go play for a little while. Emma loved the merry go round and the swings.

After the park, we picked up Brad and Amanda and headed to the mall to meet my mom and Bob.

Doug bought an ice cream cone and Emma LOVED it! She had it all over her.

She wouldn't actually lick it...she just stuck out her tongue and Doug put the ice cream on it!

Kiley

I went to the hospital today to visit my cousin Stephen and his wife Kristan who just had a baby girl yesterday. Kiley Lauren Priske was due on February 14th but she came a little earlier than expected. She is a beautiful little baby!! Congratulations Stephen and Kristan!!!

Late Christmas

Emma got another Christmas present last Sunday night from Uncle Dale and Aunt Tami. They got her a little table from Ikea and she loves it!!

Doug found her sitting at her table this morning looking at a book!

We got into Disney a few weekends ago for free (thanks Tommy and Carlos) and here are a couple pictures and a video from our time there.
