Tabitha and I
My other cousin, Jennifer and I (this is Tabitha's sister)Doug*Laura*Emma*Dylan * Married 3/20/04 * Blessed with Emma 10/3/07 * Blessed with Dylan 5/16/10 * Here's a little background: Doug and I met June of 97 on a missions trip to Costa Rica. I knew his brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Tami, from the year before when we went to Hong Kong. Doug and I didn't see/talk to each other again til 01. I kept in touch with Dale and Tami so when Doug moved to FL from IL they gave him my number and we started dating on 5/18/01 and got engaged 7/20/03.

This is a frame that I made for Emma. It is for every month of her first year of life. My Dad and Stepmom bought it for us before Emma was born. It turned out to be a really good idea.
Here's the pretty birthday girl in her birthday outfit. Her shirt says Baby's First Birthday.

Here are just some shots of some of the people that were at the party.

My Grandpa's hamburger/hot dog combo???
Natalie and Emma
This is the cake that Emma got to destroy. As you will see below she did a fairly good job of it.

I read a blog today that brought tears to my eyes. An old roommate of mine from CCC has a blog and it wasn't until today that I found it. I had known for a few months that she was expecting and hadn't seen anything recently regarding it. I went onto her blog and found out why. She gave birth to her baby boy about two months ago (he was due yesterday). He was stillborn and is now with Jesus. I read through her blog about the struggles that she is facing and it broke my heart for her. I am so blessed to have a healthy, happy baby girl that is about to turn 1 year old on Friday. I know God has a plan for everything that happens in our lives...it is just hard to see that plan sometimes. About a month ago Doug accepted a job offer at his current job for our family to move to Dallas. We felt like God was leading us in that direction but we know it is going to be super hard to leave all of my family behind. Well, last week I lost my job and Texas became an even bigger blessing for us. God knew that in the long run we really need this move to TX.
Well, I wrote all this basically just to say how thankful I am for my baby and my husband and my family. God has blessed me with an incredible life and even though I fail to thank Him for it as often as I should He still blesses me everyday.

This is the sign for Taco Bueno. It was pretty good. They still have Taco Bell's, but I thought this was a little better.
Here is the sign for Butler and Hosch. It is on the 3rd floor of the glass building behind it.
We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Dallas. Not a very good picture of the sign, but oh well.
This is our room.
We started the day out right on Saturday with a healthy breakfast from Chick-fil-A. After this we started looking at apartments.
This is one of the major grocery store chains in Dallas.
Here is the 1st house we are going to buy!!
And this will be our 2nd home!!!

We went and saw Righteous Kill on Saturday night at the North Park Mall.
We drove to Frisco, TX on Sunday before I had to leave and this is the Mexican restaurant we ate at. It was very good
