Fun In The Sun

Yesterday we decided to go to Daytona Beach. It was drizzling when we got there but it turned out to be a pretty nice day.

I realize this may be very hard to read or look at, but it makes me, myself, appreciate everything just a little bit more. This sweet baby girl, Kayleigh, was born 3 months early and weighed only 1 lb. She had survived for the last 11 months and the day after Mother's Day went home to be with the Lord. It is hard to read and not question God on why He would take this sweet girl, but He has promised that He will never give us more than we can handle.
Say a quick prayer for these people!

Bathtime!!

Doug decided to take some pictures of Emma during bathtime last night. Here is the only picture where she would actually look at the camera. She was playing shy and ignoring her Daddy!!

BBQ Time

On Saturday we went to dinner at my cousin's house. Kristan and Stephen were nice enough to open up their home and have all the family over for a BBQ.

Emma was consumed by their dog Paxton. She stood at the door and just kept saying "dog" over and over and over again. She was having fun teasing her!! Sorry Paxton!!

Happy Mom's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope you all had as good of a day as I did. I am SOOOO thankful for Emma. I can't even imagine life without her. She is truly a blessing from God.

Emma and Doug made my day special. They got me a very pretty necklace with a heart charm with Emma's birthstone around one side of it. Here is a picture from the website.

They also got me a shirt from Gap. It is this shirt below, except mine is yellow. It is really cute and I wore it out to dinner at Longhorn tonight!

And, my Dad got me some flowers for Mother's Day. They are really pretty!!

I'm SO hungry...

I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday:( Once I get back up and running I promise I will update the blog with some new pictures!
